Humanities Grade
I think I deserve a B for my model. I think I should get a B, because the walls of the Viking castle aren't all even and Summer and I rushed when making it. There isn't much detail or texture on the castle either. I think I did 60% of the work because I decorated, and but together the castle. I also painted most of it.
Life Science Grade
I think I deserve a -A for my organism habitat. I think I deserve this grade because my mice are in a great habitat. The cage they are in allows them run around, and they have a lot of space. Our cage includes all the things to feed and water it, and the mice also have privacy areas in their cage. Our cage is also very clean, and filled with bedding and woodshavings for the mice. The viking castle we built in our cage is great for the mice, because it is made out of wood, which is safe if the mice eat it. I think I did about 55% of the work. Summer and I both helped paint the cage, get the cage ready, buy the bedding, food and furniture for the mice.

Viking Religion
My partner and I are teaching our lesson plan on Viking religion. Below I listed some key points of Viking religion.
Viking Gods/Heaven: The Viking's worshiped many gods. The king of all there gods was Odin. Odin was the god of wisdom, magic, and many other things. It is said that Odin sacrificed one of his eyes for a drink from the fountain of Memir, a source of hidden wisdom. Odin lived in Valhalla, the Viking heaven. To go to Valhalla after death, you had to have died in battle. In Valhalla, you fought by day, then your wounds healed by nighttime when you dined with Odin. Valhalla was one of the 13 realms of the world. A sacred ash tree spread throughout these 13 realms.
Viking Religion in General: Viking gods were mainly worshiped by a group of priests. Offerings of fruit, treasures, animals and human sacrifices were given to the gods. The gods were usually worshiped underneath sacred trees, wells, or formations of stones. Later on in time, wood structures were used to worship in.
Conversion to Christianity: The vikings ended up converting to Christianity. They came across Christianity through their raids. Many people believed that the Viking's hated Christianity due to their attacks to the Christian churches. This is not true, they were mainly attacked the churches because they were wealthy, and undefended.

My Organism
My organism is a mouse. My partner got three mice over the weekend :-) They're all girls. We have a small white mouse named Princess, another white one named Dutchess (who's evil), and a gray one named Lola. We plan to get one more mice because our cage is HUGE. Heres some facts about mice below :-)
Life Span: 1-2 years
Food: Mouse mix, some fruit and vegtables like: Apple (seedless, Banana, Broccoli,Brussel Sprouts - small amounts occasionally,Carrots, Cauliflower leaves and stalks, Cucumber, Grapes, Kiwi, Lettuce - small amounts occasionally, Mango, Parsley - a good tonic, Peas, Romaine Lettuce, Tomato. What not to feed: Kidney Beans (raw, Onion, Potato (raw, Potato tops, Rhubarb (raw), Rhubarb leaves, Tomato leaves.

Crocodile Hunter Sklits
Yesterday we preformed skits that were done in the same style as the crocodile hunter's show. The skits had to contain ten facts about our organism. Our group of ten split into two groups and made the skits. In my group for the skit was, Emily, Chandler, Sarah, and Summer. These are the facts on mammals we included in our skit:
1. Mammals are warm blooded
2. They have mammary glands which they use to give milk to their young
3. They have four limbs
5. They all have hair or fur
In our skit sarah and I were the show hosts, Zoe Zebara, and Katie Koala. Chandler was Stevie Werwin the explorer/animal expert and emily and summer were the indian natives in the forests of Australia.

Lesson Plan
For the Zoomanities project, we are required to create and teach a lesson plan to the class about the ancient civilization our terrarium is modeled after. Because I am in the mammals group, I will teach a lesson on Medieval Scandinavia a.k.a the Vikings. Each partner in the groups of 10 will teach a lesson on an element of the civilization, like geography, religion, culture/customs, the connection to our world and architecture. Me and my partner are researching viking religion. So far we have learned that their religion was based on mythology, and they eventually converted to christianity. I will post more about what I learn later.

Zoomanities Project
In class we are currently starting the Zoomanities Project. For this project we are paired with a partner, and with our partner we are put into groups. Each group cares for a different species of animals. For example, Mammals, Reptiles etc. Each partner will care for their organism and research their organism, and its classification. We will also build a terrarium for our organism that contains elements from ancient civilizations like, Medieval Scandinavia (vikings), Charlemagne etc. We will scale down real buildings from our civilization so they fit our organisms.
